Privacy Policy
Kachitile is a free block puzzle game made by an independent developer. This policy explains what information the game stores, why, and how you can delete it. It applies to the website kachitile.com and the Kachitile app.
The short version
- You can play without an account. Nothing about you is stored on our server until you create one.
- An account needs only a username and a password. No email, phone number or real name.
- No ads, no tracking across apps or websites, and we never sell or share your information.
- You can delete your account and all its data at any time, inside the game.
What is stored on your device
Your settings (like sound on or off), your current game, your best scores and your sign-in session are saved in your browser or app storage on your own device. This never leaves your device unless you play online features described below.
What is stored on our server (only if you create an account)
- Username, which other players can see on the leaderboards and rankings.
- Password, stored only as a secure one-way hash. We cannot read it.
- Recovery code, also stored only as a one-way hash, so you can reset a forgotten password.
- Game data: your scores, Daily Challenge and Weekly Cup tries, and in Pals mode your coins, Pals, missions and capsule history.
We use this information only to run the game: to keep you signed in, show leaderboards and rankings, and save your Pals progress.
Feedback
If you send feedback from the game, we store your message, basic technical details about the page (such as the game mode and screen size) to help fix bugs, your username if you are signed in, and a one-way scrambled code made from your internet address. That code only limits how many messages can be sent per hour; it cannot be turned back into your address.
Visitor counts
We count visits as anonymous daily totals (for example, how many visits came from a phone or from a shared link). These totals contain nothing that identifies you.
Friend challenges
A challenge link contains the name you type, the game mode and your score, so your friend can see them. These details travel inside the link you choose to share and are not stored on our server.
Services we use
- Supabase hosts the game database (accounts, scores and Pals data).
- Netlify hosts the kachitile.com website and, like most web hosts, keeps short-lived technical logs to deliver and protect the site.
These providers process data only to provide their service to Kachitile.
How long we keep data
Account data is kept until you delete your account. Sign-in sessions expire on their own. Feedback is kept until it has been dealt with.
Deleting your account
Open the game, tap your username or Account, then Delete account and confirm with your password. Your account, scores, rankings, Pals, coins and sessions are deleted from our server right away, and your username is removed from any feedback you sent. This cannot be undone.
Children
Kachitile is suitable for all ages, and we do not ask for anyone's age, email or real name. If you are a parent and want an account removed, use the in-game Delete account option or contact us as below.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example in the UK or EU), you may have the right to access, correct or delete your data, or to object to how it is used. You can delete everything yourself in the game, or contact us for anything else.
Contact
Use Send feedback in the game, or send a message to @kachitile on Instagram. See also our Support page.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top of this page.
